1. Fulbright-Kalam Climate Fellowships
The fellowship is offered by The United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF). The fellowship offers round-trip economy class air travel between India and the U.S, a monthly stipend, accident and sickness benefit, settling-in allowance, and a professional allowance.
Duration: Eight to twelve months
Eligibility: A PhD within the last four years, significant number of publications in the domain, Employer’s Endorsement Form if employed.

4. Raman Fellowship for Post Doctoral Research for Indian Scholars in United States of America
Allowance: US $ 3000 per month
One time personal contingency grant of upto a maximum of Rs. 50,000 to cover for visa, airport transfer, medical insurance etc
Travel grant of upto $ 600 for six months and $ 1200 beyond
Air-tickets through Air India
Duration: 6 months and maximum 12 months
Eligibility: a. permanent teacher in a university/institution recognized by UGC under 2(f) and 12B of UGC Act
b. Under the age of 40 year as on 1st June, 2015
c. Publications in peer reviewed journals
d. PhD in Humanities, Social Sciences, Natural Science, Engineering, Technology, Agricultural Sciences) or MD/MS/Ph.D. in Medical Sciences
e. At least 60 per cent marks or equivalent in the post-graduate degree
